PRETORIA – Explosive claims have been made in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
This as police investigator Batho Mogola returns to the stand for cross-examination.
Defence lawyer Thulani Mngomezulu put it to the witness that Longwe Twala fired the fatal shot.
He told the court that Orlando Pirates boss Irvin Khoza told Meyiwa’s brother the robbery was faked.
Mngomezulu also accused the investigator of not conducting a proper investigation and cooking the evidence.
Mogola firmly denied this, saying she did not interview the family as statements had already been taken.
